Will the Cooler Master Thunder 600w run well with an FX8320 and an R9 280x? Other specs: 2x4gb DDR3, 2 hdds, 1 dvdrw, 3 fans (two are leds).

More about : 600w 280x

Yes it will work fine. Although cooler master aren't known for their PSUs that much when contending with other brands out there, still their PSUs are solid i would say. I used to own a 650 W cooler master one before i switched to corsair 750tx one.

Your current PSU has ample power for such a card:
http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/thunder/thunder... is that the one you're talking about bro?
If so, then it has 564 Watts/12 Volts= 47 Amps on the 12V rail and the necessary PCI-E power connectors, which is (6+2)x2 pins.
