This might sound very stupid but basically, are there any productive ways to backup essential/important datas from C drive? I won't be cloning/imaging as the motherboard will have a brand new chipset and I would like to start fresh.

That said, I can't find efficient ways to backup datas/settings as I'll have to:
- Manually copy and paste files that I want to keep
- Take screenshots of settings (such as Windows mouse settings, power settings etc...)
- Copy program settings from "%appdata%" folder
- Write down which programs to install again

You can call me bird brain, paranoid and such but there are some files/settings I would definitely want to keep and use it when I replace my mobo.
However, if there are no efficient ways to reduce the hassle I'll keep manually doing it as that seems to be the only way to preserve datas.

Thank you, help would be appreciated it.

Thank you, though it seems like it won't copy settings from appdata (hidden filder).

Is that the only place where I have to manually transfer?
