Hello, i am interested in an advice... I have a 650W cooler master power supply - COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RP-650-PCAR 650W ATX from factor 12V V2.01 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Power Supply W/Passive PFC

So here is the problem, when i used it on older PC
Specs:
K9A2-Platinum V2
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+
CPU Cooling http://www.zerotherm.net/eng/product/BTF90.asp
ATI Radeon 3850 512/256 + Accelero L2 plus
Samsung 320GB HDD
4GB kingston KVR800 (2x2GB)

My CPU overheated, my GPU was overheating and my fps was bad,
I switched it with LC Power 600-H PSU everything was normal..
As i am curious, i opened my power supply and i found that everything was ok on the front side of the PSU, but there was allot of burnt dust on the back of the motherboard, i cleaned it chemically and i found that everything was neat after doing so but one yellow spot that left, i am interested if it is safe to return it in the PC and see if everything will work ok, or does anyone have any suggestions or you know any other reason what it could be the problem inside of it, i would appreciate it :)

p.s. Sorry for my English, its been a while :)

yeah, i know, i dont know if one of these ( i got cash atm just for those ) would be good in the future:

535W Raidmax RX-535AP Modular 535W
LC600-H V12 600W
Raidmax RX-500 AF 500W
CHIEFTEC GPS-500A8 500W Smart series

what would be the best out of those... LC600 does splendid job in my other PC for a few years alrdy, and it had 9800GX2 on it... :)
