I have an ATX gigabyte mobo that is "esd resistant" amd to summarise things:

I take esd precautions
I unscrew case on floor which is laminate wooden flooring
I install psu but its not connected to anything
i have an esd strap hooked onto the metal frame of the case
i accidentally forgot the mobo mounts and i place the mobo into the case then the mobo makes contact with the metal frame
Mobo scrapes against the metal a little but there seemed to be no physical damage or scratches
I realise i have not enough mobo stand offs and so i abandon pc building plans till i get more screws and stand offs
CPU and RAM were installed on the mobo

Are my parts going to be damaged?
