TLDR? What type of 8GBx 2 sticks RAM does my A960G+ support?

I am seeking to buy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231556

If anybody can inform me if this will work in my system? Im gonna order this, if you all think it will work fine. Thanks!

Ok I have 8GB of ram. I need 16GB, to assist with video editing. My mobo supports 16gb max, but I do not know which type, as it is a tad confusing

The website for the Biostar A960G+ says something about Over Clocking certain speed types, and that is where I am lost

*from the website:

Support Dual Channel DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600(OC)/1866(OC) MHz
2 x DDR3 DIMM Memory Slot
Max. Supports up to 16GB Memory
※DDR3-1866 for AM3+ CPU only

It goes on to show brands supported, but shows 1, 2 and 4 gb sticks, and says its not a complete list. So I am seeking 2 8gb sticks, that will not require me to oc my rig, but just plug n play, so to speak. Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

Would this be supported by my pc? I do mostly gaming, but I have need to edit. I use camtasia for editing videos. Editing is mostly limited to a cooking show, with some gaming montages.

No thanks, I am not into installing programs to tell me what to get, rather do it the old fashion way, but thanks.

so 1333 ddr3 will work? The backward compatibility, so if I did buy a higher speed, it would stop at 1333? or would it force me to OC it at 1600? also is 1333 a good ram speed for gaming?*i mostly play rust, SWTOR MMO and DayZ Thanks

Download the motherboard manual. In the BIOS .pdf turn to page 30. The memory is compatible, 1866MHz memory is too.

AX3U1600W8G11-DD DDR3-1600 (8GB * 2) CL11-11-11-28 Black
CL is CAS Latency

DRAM Timing Config -> set to [Manual}
Memory Clock Speed -> set to DDR3-1600
CAS Latency (CL) --> set to 11
2T Command --> set to 2T

Now set the next three numbers to 11,11,28.
TRCD
Options: Auto (Default) / 2~19 CLK
TRP
Options: Auto (Default) / 2~19 CLK
TRAS
Options: Auto (Default) / 8~40 CLK

Save and Exit BIOS. DRAM Voltage appears to be the default 1.5volts.

This really confused me even more. Can you possibly link me to the type of RAM I need to buy, either from newegg or tigerdirect?

The guys at bestbuy told me I had to OC my CPU to use the only brand they had, and that didnt seem right, so I didnt buy any there.

Thanks
