Hey everyone,
I know this question has been asked way too many times to count on this forum. but I really am stuck.
I'm trying to pick a power supply that will last the life of my new build.

Build details
CPU - fx-8350
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3-R4
RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (4GB x2) 1866mhz
Graphics Card - Gigabyte Radeon R9 290x Windforce or gigabyte gtx 780 windforce (depending on final budget)
Case- Chaser MK-I (noting this case has a fair few fans with colour shift light and fan controllers)
Optical Drive - (currently looking for bluray burner)
Hard Drives - Currently have 3 x 2TB and 1 x 500GB (various rpm) from last build, will increase as i need

I want the ability to over clock the CPU to about 4.5 or maybe 4.8 if i can get it stable
wont be over clocking graphics cards, but would like the option to crossfire a second one in the future if i need,

i was looking at this one
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25943&cPath=226

is this a good choice?
will this be enough power?
is there a better choice for the same cost or less?

I am truly sorry for asking a question that you all have answered a million times. but i am stuck and dont know anyone to ask personally.

Please let me know if there are any details i have missed that are important for your advice.

P.S this is my first time asking any questions on any forum, so if there are any etiquette mistakes I have made, please let me know so i can adjust for the next post i make.

Kind Regards
Michael

Yes , that Antec is a perfect fit for your system and plenty of extra power for overclocking.

Nice choice.

This ones a few dollars more but made by the best SEASONIC.

Thank you for the quick answer. i didnt mention it in the original post, but i have done alot of research, product reviews and 2 different psu calculators.

your answer is exactly what i wanted, but may i ask another silly question.

why is the xfx Proseries better?
or is is simply the build quality you expect from seasonic that warrants the extra money.
i don't mind spending the extra cash for a quality piece of hardware.

however, from what I hear the Truepower range from Antec has Seasonic internals.

once again, dont mind spending extra for better quality

thanks again

would it be advisable to increase my wattage, but sacrifice the gold certification for a silver or bronze?
from what i understand these are just efficiency ratings (please correct me if im wrong)
wich will increase running cost
or does it have anything to do with running performance?

im just trying to get all the information i can before i make an order

No , the one I linked is more than enough power for your specs.

Yes they are just efficiency ratings.

Note: It's more than enough wattage for your needs and a top quality unit.
