It's not just Steam games, it's also Origin games and games I have on disc. Also Youtube will lag for me. And it's not that I don't have the hardware to handle it either. My computer has handled all these games very well but about 4 days ago the lag started. I have tried a lot. I have tried:
Cleaning out the PC
Checking CPU and GPU temps
Using CCleaner
Clearing out the temp file
And finally I used to Auslogistics Disc Defrag to defragment the PC, after I did this everything ran perfectly for about 8 hours then the lag came right back.
I have no idea what to do after that so I came to Tom's Hardware for help. Please, any help is appreciated!
