Can you upgrade the X51 to an R9 270?

I've noticed that you can now get the X51 with an R9 270, so I was wondering if it is the same thing as buying it and replacing it yourself. I know there are OEM versions, or possible compatibility problems going from a stock Nvidia GPU to an AMD one and whatnot, so this is why I am asking.
I have the 240 PSU, but upgrading to 330 shouldn't be a problem.
PS, I know all about the fact that building my own is cheaper..., but I would just really like to know this
Thank you for your help

Alienware knew their customers universally want the option to upgrade cards down the road so they made sure the X51 could function with off the shelf cards.

The card you buy still needs to be able to fit within the space allotted so you need to be aware of the graphics card's physical dimensions. 150 Watt, dual-slot width graphics graphics cards with a length of up to 9 inches was the original design limits.

But the X51 only comes with a 330psu max, so is the R9 270 that they are offering different than ones off the shelf?
