Corsair R200 and Rampage Black Edition - ?

I'm currently working on my own build. I want it to be quite a beast but within as minimal space as possible.

My motherboard is Asus Rampage Black Edition, filled with 8x8GB RipjawsX rams.

My case is (not sure yet) 200R, ecause I like it's minimal and effective design.

Do you think a h80i would fit in? I'm not sure if ram height will be overlapping with the cooler, but obviously I don't have a chance to see or try it..

Any help/ideas area appreciated.

I know it fits to the case! I don't know if it fits with the motherboard + ram combination?

You're going with a full ATX, LGA 2011 rig with 4 times the amount of RAM you need to be able to simultaneously run battlefield 3, photoshop, AND 30 tabs in google chrome... and you want it to be in as minimal space as possible? Good grief... :p

There should be enough room for an h80i OR an h100i, but put it on the top instead of the side.

Who cares about battlefield?
I travel (move) a lot, and this will be my work machine; that's why I need it minimal, and as powerful as possible.
(simulation purposes, rams are needed)

TOP?! Howcome?! is the width of the case even enough? after pump, and rams, and everything?
Is there a proof for this?

I don't particularly care about battlefield - I was using it as an example of RAM usage, since it tends to be a hog.
Ahh, and that explains things - didn't know that it was for work as well as gaming.

What's the problem with putting the thing in the top, I'm confused?

Will the width fit?
Because there will be RAM's, which have plenty of height (8 of them or 64GB build)

...hang on, which part of it are you thinking is the top?

I'm not talking about the part that's directly across from the motherboard - that would be the side panel.

I'm talking about the two fan layouts that are 90 degrees off from the processor-side of the motherboard.

That's the typical place to put watercooling radiators and all-in-ones like the h-series.

as far as I know, the back panel fan hole is almost touching the motherboard i/o panel (measurement/width wise) - therefore h80i will be the same.
Since ripjawsx has 1cm additional height, I suspect they'll overlap..
That's the main reason of my suspicion.

Go to the newegg page for the h80i and look at the second to last picture. The motherboard is inset into the case a little, and then you have the room of the io panel before you get to the RAM. You'll be perfectly fine.

As for having an H100i coming from the top, if you look at the video down at the bottom of the same page, at 1:04, they show that the top fan mounts are 120mm or 140mm... and if you look at the way the fans are cut, the 120mm fans are further out from the motherboard side of the case, so you should be able to fit a radiator there no problem too.

Yeah, I get that, but like I said, look at the back of the 200R... the motherboard is inset into the case a little ways, which gives room for the radiator, and then you have a little distance on the motherboard before you get to the RAM. You can do the radiator and one fan no problem.

And even if that doesn't work, you should be able to easily mount it on the top, or on the side panel, or on the intake in the bottom.
