My GPU Fan spins really slow (ATI 4670 xfx)

So from one day to the other my gpu fan started to spin so slow that my gpu reached 120° celcius and my pc shutdown. I cleaned all the dust inside and near every component but the problem stills here

download evga precision and try to control the fan. If you cannot the fan controller might have went out or the fan itself is shot.

try taking it out and giving it a good cleaning, maybe even try to get some oil in the bearings if you can.

That would probably work, just be extremely careful with where you put it and how much as you don't want it to drip anywhere when you reinstall it.

i just realize that if i turn the pc sideways the fan works better than in the regular possition

Sounds like the fan's on the way out or needs a good cleaning.
