Your motherboard supports 2GB of RAM total. That would be 4 x 512MB sticks. It will not support any sticks with more than 512MB.

Even if you could add 16GB of RAM it will not help that Pentium 4 be any faster. That system is so obsolete it will not play HD Youtube videos. You are wasting any money you put in it. Save up and get a completely new computer. I don't believe any parts you have now will be useable in a new build. They are just too old.

It should support 1GB per slot.. it has two so you can add up to 2GB of PC3200 400Mhz RAM. The same chipset may support more than 2GB in motherboards with 3 or 4 slots… but the D845GLAD only has two slots. To get a little better performance you’d have to install a faster Intel Pentium 4 Processor. And if you want much better performance, you’d have to upgrade the PC with modern motherboard, processor and RAM modules.

I don't think that board supports the Core 2 Duo. That set up was nice in 2009. Today I doubt it can be upgraded to even browse the web decently. Never mind any kind of gaming.

The Core2Duo is not new. It has been obsolete since 2009. You need a completely new computer to game.
