Hi everyone hope you're all good. So i'll cut to the chase, i'm planning on purchasing and building my very first PC preferably used for gaming (and video editing and rendering) in the next couple of months or so, and while on the hunt for parts and such i stumbled upon this great website that offered me places to buy them without having to pay for building fees other companies offer; as i would like to build and personalize this myself as much as possible and gain experience while learning. the website is uk.partpicker.com
as you can already tell, i'm a complete hopeless noob when it comes to all this, so i used the website to build my rig (using it's top ratings filter) and to my surprise i think i built a pretty darn good computer for gaming for waaay less than my initial budget!
This is the build:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H ATX LGA1150
Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" SSD
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: EVGA 750W ATX12V / EPS12V
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit)
Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g

I didn't need to include a really good disc tray as i'm only gonna use this PC strictly for games only and maybe video editing and rendering of future game-play vids to share to my friends. So a normal disc tray to install things in should be enough. I think...
I also won't need a big ass hard drive since I've already got a 1TB external hard drive to store things in. I think...
And lastly i won't need a wireless adapter thing as this PC will be wired for maximum internet connectivity and less lag. I hope. I think... lmao
So what do you guys think? (So much think!) as you can see it total to less than £1200 a hell of a lot less lower than my initial budget which i'm so happy with!
Just a few questions i'm itching to ask:
-Anything you guys would like to change and/or add to make it better? Keeping it inside my budget range of course.
-Would all the parts in this build fit snuggly inside the case i will buy?
-With Skyrim being one of my top favourite games of all time, would this build allow me to play it with no problems whatsoever on max settings and a crap loads of mods in? It's this game and it's many wonderful mods for PC that made me do the transition from a console gamer to a PC one!
-If and when i do decide to overclock my CPU and GPU would my current cooling system (h100i) and stock GPU Cooler (Windforce) be enough for maximum performance and optimal temperature?
-And lastly, is this future proof? I'm not looking on buying or building another PC for the next 3-5 years or so, so i'm wondering would i be good? Upgrading and the likes are necessary in the future of course, so would I be set with all this for the next 3-5 years?
Sorry for the trouble and so many questions, it's just that I've never really planned on splashing so much money on a PC before! >.<
