In most games you won't see a difference from a 6300 to 8320 - an 8320 is essentially a 6300 with 2 more cores. Since many games don't make use of more than 4 cores they will perform very similarly.

I'd say your best bet is to get that 970A board and a nice CPU cooler then overclock, or switch to intel.
