Adding ram to old desktop

I have an old dell (I think, dell inspiron 530?) that only has 3 of its original 4 sticks of ram. They are 1gb ddr2 sticks, but one of them went bad and starting causing bsod, so we took it out. We haven't replaced it since, but from what I hear, having a single stick of ram when it's supposed to be dual channel significantly lowers performance. Is this true? I was looking at sticks of ram to replace it, and I figured these might work?

Should I avoid the ebay ram? And go for ram from microcenter?
I was also wondering if I added a stick of 2gb ram, with the same timings, would it work? One channel would be 2x1gb, and the other would be 1x1gb+1x2gb. Or is that silly and would cause problems?
Heres a cpu-z screeny of the "Slot #2" that I assume will be paired in the dual channel with "Slot #4".

Thanks!

In order for Dual/Quad Channel, timings (CL) and BUS Speed of the RAMs must be same. Capacity is of least important in this regard. RAMs in all three options have same speed i.e 800 operating at 1.80 V.

For Dual channel your RAMs must be in 1,3 and/or 2,4 slots on your mobo. Though channel should be used when using more than one RAM from performance perspective.
