Hi I have question about my motherboard and ram... I'm not sure where to ask...
I have a Foxconn motherboard G43MX-K and a Gskill 4gb DDR2 1066 ram I had these parts for about 4 years and finally putting these together. I was wondering if they were compatible? the motherboard specs says DDR2 1066(O.C) but does that mean it can only run overclocked? when using these my computer keeps crashing. When I use only one of the ram stick the computer is stable. is this a motherboard and ram issue? and will it be better to have gskill take care of the warranty or should I look into purchasing a DDR2 800 ram? hopefully all this makes sense.. I need this computer to run as soon as possible so helps and comments are much appreciated.

The first thing I do with any fancy ddr2 ram is set the voltage to 'Hi';' or 1.9 v. then try again. DDR 1066 (O.C.) does mean the motherboard will (most likely) have to be manually set to run at that speed, but 1066 ram (any ram)
will run slower without any probs. turn the voltageup a notch.
