good comp bad at games

my question is about my computer ... i have a problem playing a low spec game named combat arms ... i bought my computer a month ago please help

probloms: constant small delays in the game that are just too anoying to ignore

windows 7 ultimate os

here are my specs

DVD-+R/-+RW SATA LITEON iHAS122, bulk

Miditower COOLER MASTER Elite 334U, ATX

ATX 650 Watt, THERMALTAKE Smart M650W, 650W, 80Plus-Bronze

dont know if this is the right place for this problem(im a noob at forum stuff heh)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

While your system may be new it is not a very high end gaming system. Both your CPU and GPU are what I would consider entry level gaming parts and just do not have the power to play demanding games on high settings and many even at medium.

I'd suggest ensuring your GPU drivers are up to date. Get them direct from AMD's site.

Also, turning down the settings and resolution should help.

There's a few comments on here about people who could play it earlier suddenly dropping to ~20FPS. I'm wondering if the newest drivers broke something.

Try rolling back, perhaps to the stable (non-beta) drivers.

Might be the game, which have been bad optimized after a patch or something like that.
Normally games would be better optimized after some patched, but they might have screwed up.

Someone on the second page of the comments I linked said 'dont run the CA! i download and i try play and i have a 20 fps with grafics in low'.

While I have no idea what that means, this may be useful.

i treid to download amd drivers again and now when i tried to install it says install package failure -.- does anyone know how to fix this ?

seen that you arent the only one suddenly getting bad gmaing-experience after a update/patch/?, I would believe the game have been bad optimized. If this is the cause, there arent much you can do other than wait for them to fix their screw up.

If you have some old installer files, you could try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. Don't update it.

However, that's not necessarily possible, if the game requires certain updates for basic functionality.

For games it require the lastest update to function with the server.(generally)
It will simply check the version and if that doesn't fit it will start an update.
