2tb hdd and 240gb ssd vs 1tb hdd and 480gb ssd

for gaming,watching films,browsing internet, etc on a pc/desktop is having a 2 terabyte(tb) hard drive(hdd) and a 240gb solid state drive(sad) better or worse than having a 1terabyte(tb) hard drive(hdd) and a 480gb solid state drive(ssd).

both will be the same speed, just different prices and different sizes of storage, if you plan on downloading a lot of movies get the 2TB, if you want to load them 0.1 second faster, go with the 480gb SSD

The answer is a SRT compatible mobo, 64GB SSD as a caching drive, 1TB Caviar Blue or even bigger Caviar Black.
Read about Intel SRT technology, generally for home usage its not very practical to buy huge SSD drives because its simply a waste of money for the time being.
