ok i found some ivy bridges quad cores but now i must decide between nvidia gt 740m or amd hd 8750m. i also found a laptop, in fact several ones, with i7 haswell 4500u with amd hd 8850m and nvidia gt 740m. which confing should i get? i can't find a laptop with the quad core and the 8850m...

Quad core mobile i7's are out of this leag price wise... The difference between a Quad i7m and a dual i5m laptop with the gt 740m graphic card is between 200 to 250$..wtf
BTW, the majority of i7 mobile CPU are DUAL CORE, like the i7 4500u.
And between the 740m and 8850m, definatly go for the 8850m, especialy because nvidia "nerfed" the 740m and now has 64bit memory bgandwith (there are 2 versions of gt 740 m, on gk 107 and one gk 208 (the nerfed one))

understood, ty. i will continue to look for a similar one maybe with a better graphics card, that 740m kinda freaks me out.
Try a GTX750. They are decent.TRENDING THREADS
