CPU or GPU PLEASE HELP NEED SMART PEOPLE

I know this question has been asked before but i still dont know.

I have a i7 2600k cpu and im building a new computer but dont know what to get, i7 4770k or another r9 280x gpu to do crossfire with . Is my cpu still good for a 2011 cpu. Because both products are the same price, and yes i play games and want to play on the highest settings with good fps.

HELP ME PLEASE

You won't need a new CPU for a while; there's nothing much in the new chips other than power improvements.

Get another GPU, or a new screen. Or SSD.

You'd also need a new motherboard for the Haswell chip.

Upgrade to the 2011 socket first and then get the gpu.

Uh. No. There's no point to go for an LGA 2011 chip currently, other than extremely multithreaded (not games) tasks, and bragging rights.

I wont advice getting a new CPU. the i7 that you have is preety capable. Invest somewhere else like getting a new card for Xfire.
