I have install a Windows 7 Pro on my laptop with a clean install but the key product number won't pass the validation test saying that it's invalid. I then installed it over itself, but it still won't validate.

You need to contact Microsoft.

Use the phone option to validate. Microsoft should be able to assist you.

when installing when it askes for a product key just hit next without entering anything. it will then install windows. then go to system and hit change product key. then enter the key you have.
