my r9 270x is giving laggy performance in all games

I'm very disappointed with the performance of my new sapphire hd r9 270x oc edition 2gb ddr5 every game is lagging even fifa14 and I have tried all settings from max to low plz suggest me about the problem.. Thank you in advance

R9 270x oc edition 2gb ddr5
GIGABYTE 970a ds3
4gb corsair ram
600 watt cooler master thunder

4 GB of RAM is not going to do well with multitasking and gaming-- depending on what you're doing.

I guess just try closing everything before you start FIFA up. If that doesn't work, launch up a command prompt and type "msconfig" no quotes. Hit enter and a window should open up.

Go to the "Boot" tab and check "Number of Processors" In your case you should want to select "8."

Give it a reboot and see what happens.
