Solution James Mason Feb 3, 2014 If it's reporting bad sectors your HD is bad, and only going to get worse. it's possible to "fix" bad sectors, but it just hides the problem, since you're trying to format anyways, you're better off getting a new HDD. But these topics are relevant and may allow you to "fix" your problem: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1795054/repair-hard-drive-errors-bad-sectors.html http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/244568-32-repair-sectors-help http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1705362/bad-sector-fix-gparted-pro-sp3.html
