Hello.
My PC had some crahses, after that I tested RAM. It showed me an error, so I did multiple tests with both modules (I have kit of 2, 2x2 GB), and with each of them separately. Sometimes tests gave me error, other times it did not.
So I decided to set timings and Frequency manualy (I noticed that Win 8.1 task manager shows only 800 Mhz) My RAM has 5-5-5-15 and 1066 Mhz frequency. so I set timings acordingly to what the sticker said. And I set MCH Frequency Latch to 400 Mhz and SPD to 3.20B and as a result I get 1066 Mhz in BIOS. But OS still says that frequency is only 800. Anyone has ideas how to make my RAM work at 1066 Mhz?
I have Gigabyte EP45-DS3 motherboard.
