Hi,
I'm building a new pc with i5 4670 and I have to decide a mobo. I am not going to overclock as my processor is not the "k" version!! so plz help me out which mobo will be durable and also which mobo will support future Intel processors (say 5th gen processors) and also if i'm not going to overclock, Do I need to get a Z87 chipset??

Does it matter which manufacturer I choose and which will be best... Asus Or Gigabyte??

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated..

Thanx

H87 boards provide most of the same features as Z87 including plenty of SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 ports. The only major features it lacks is CPU overclocking support and support for triple SLI/Crossfire configurations. Unfortunately, many motherboard manufactures attempt to push users to Z87 motherboards by limiting the number of ports and headers on their H87 motherboards. Because of this, Z87 motherboards are sometimes a better choice than H87 even when you do not need overclocking or triple SLI/Crossfire.

That being the case it really depends on what features you will be utilizing, i.e., ports, peripherals, etc

I have to put these components on my new mobo besides i5 4670:

Corsair VS 650
Gigabyte Radeon R9 270
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB

Are all above components compatible with Asus H87-PLUS??
another thing... On Asus website, it is written 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16... What does this mean?? PCIe 2.0 or 3.0??
