So this morning I was using my computer with no problems at all. I came home from college and found that my TV (Connected to my PC with a VGA to VGA cable using a VGA-DVI adapter because my GPU only takes DVI and HDMI) was showing the "No Signal" message. I tried connecting my Desktop to my TV via HDMI and still got the same result.
A while later I found that taking a stick of RAM out can sometimes solve the problem and it did. I'm typing this on the very same desktop with no problems, all is well. Albeit, I now only have 4GB of RAM as opposed to 8GB. I tried plugging it back into its slot and I got the no signal message again. I also tried other slots and got the same result.
Is there any way I can be able to use both sticks of my RAM and get a video signal? I don't have a standard monitor either.
Specs:
Intel Hexa-Core i7 2.6GHz
2 x 4GB DDR3 Corsair RAM (Now only 1 stick)
GeForce GTX 760 2GB
MSI X79A-GD45
Thank you!
