Cosair H80 Installation On AM3+ Socket

Solution
Nope, you do not remove anything from the board. It uses the same 2 lugs the stock cooler does.

EDIT

Corsair has some instructions for you :)

You just remove the Intel bracket and install the AMD one. The amd bracket has 2 loops that grab the 2 mounting points the stock cooler uses. then you tighten it down evenly(so snug it and then go side to side to evenly get it tight[do NOT over tighten since you are grabbing plastic on the stock amd bracket]).

It's easy.

Mount your fan/radiator first.

Then remove the bracket on the water block / pump and replace it with the AMD one.

Once that is done, slide the key screw thing up into the bracket so that the loop hangs down and use the appropriate screw to secure it, you don't need to tighten it.

Now install the water block / pump on the CPU. The loops slide over the lip for the cooler on the CPU bracket.

Tighten down and that is it.

I think it took about 8 minutes to do it with my H100.
