panasonic dvx100a not recognize by the pc

hi,
my Panasonic dvx100a not recognize by the pc but when i check the fire wire card it work properly (when i check the driver it says it install correctly) pls help me

You shouldn't need a driver but you will need video editing software. After you connected the video camera have you tried to capture video using something like Windows MovieMaker or whatever editing software you have available on your computer?

i have sony vegas pro 12 and adobe premier but non of the software recognize my camera

Have you checked the capture settings in Premiere? There is a settings tab in the upper right hand corner of the Capture window. When you get there look under Device Control and tell me what you see.

dv/hdv device control
none

under the option
video stand -pal
device brand - generic
device type - standerd
timecode format - non drop-frame
check status - offline

What settings are you using? If "none" is set as the option then change it to "DV/HDV Device Control". The settings under options should be fine and if they don't work then try changing Device Brand to "Panasonic" and leave Device Type as "Standard" as there is no option for DVX100a. The last option I can think of that you may change in that list is Timecode Format which you can change to "Auto Detect".
