Running 8.1. 16 gb ram. 3770k
I plugged in my old xbox 360 controller because I was going to try flying in BF4 and something weird happened. First it said device malfunctioned and wouldn't install. I then downloaded the drivers and I didn't even get that message. It just blinked 8-10 times but it never showed up on device manager. I read where this pretty much means the controller is garbage.
I had an old Saitek gamepad I plugged in and that installed fine so it wasn't the USB port.
I then plugged the xbox360 controller into my I7 hp laptop and it works fine.
Any idea on what is causing the problem on the desktop ?
