I want to use Audacity to record streaming audio as I play for something I am doing. I have looked at dozens of questions, but nothing I read has answered my question. I do not seem to even HAVE an internal mic, I cannot find it, i cant enable it. It is not there in any list, even when I enable 'disabled' items. I even just today updated my Win 7, and still no mic

Your confused. There is no 'microphone' listening for audio. What your supposed to do with Audacity is tell it to listen to the speakers output, which would include ANY SOUNDS your computer makes (be it clicks on webpages, if you try watching a Youtube video at the same time, etc.). You need to read the Help with Audacity to understand how to use it. To me it seems your probably trying to capture Internet Radio / Music streams, which Audacity probably won't be able to help with, you would need a Internet Music/Radio Stream Capture software that can take the stream information and before sending it to the AUDIO drivers to play on the speakers, would instead capture and save the 'stream' someplace else (where you pick to store the files).
