In my previous thread some people told me that the mobo in my build is locked so I wouldn't be able to oc the cpu. However, I found this vid online saying you could "flash" the BIOS to get better OC options. Is this possible?

My build is as follows:

Power Supply - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750M 750W
Graphics Card - GTX 670 FTW 2GB
CPU Cooler - CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CWCH60)
Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-H77N-WIFI LGA 1155 Intel H77
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Hard Drive 1 - SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC256B/WW 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Hard Drive 2 - 2.5 inch 5400 RPM 500 GB Seagate drive

Z77 chipset is the OCing chipset, H77 isnt really made to handle the demands for power the CPU needs when being OCed. This is where Z77 could deliver the power and remain stable.

Without OCing your CPU, you'd likely get ~30-40? FPS on Ultra at 1080p. If you want 60+ FPS, you'll probably need to play on Ultra no MSAA, or a mixture of Highs and Ultras.

Would oc'ing my gpu help in this case?

A heavy overclock to the GPU (permitting that your PSU is a good quality one, and that your cooling is good enough to keep the card within temperature limits) would probably only net you 5-9 FPS increase, possibly. I can't give you the exact performance increase it will give you, but I doubt there's much you can do to get a 670 to run Ultra4XMSAA @ 1080p with 60+ average FPS.

And if I somehow replace the mobo and oc the gpu and cpu would I get 60+ on both games maxed out?
