I have a custom build pc for a few months now and its been playing up recently. Sometimes it randomly crashes while i'm on the internet (but doesn't crash while im playing game like Battlefiled 4).I'm not sure what causes the computer to crash as there is no warning as it just freezes and the screen goes blank but the pc is still on and won't turn off until I forcibly shut it down and when I turn it on there is no error message or anything so I have no idea what happened. I guess it might be a programming error of the browser or the OS.
(P.S. Wasn't sure what category to put this in so I just put it here).

Nope can be any number of reasons from overheating to needing drivers updated to as simple as you have a 'bug' in the works. I would first run a full-scan from your AntiVirus (if you have MSE, remove it immediately and install AVAST! or AVG from www.filehippo.com as MSE is a placebo AV and does not actually do as well a job as a proper AV does). Then I would run MALWAREBYTES to make sure no Malware is on the PC (Malware is different then Viruses and can't normally be caught by AV-based solutions). Download Slim Drivers and go through making sure all the drivers are up to date.

For a FX4100 I wouldn't try more then Low to Med level graphics on BF4 or other 2013 games, as the CPu isn't capable to support (choke point) higher end video cards demands.

I haven't run memtest but my CPU and GPU temps have never gone above 42 Celsius even when I overclock my GPU.
And I play my BF4 on Med settings on a 1600x900 res with no fps drops and i have run a full scan with avast! and there were no viruses

Did you run MALWAREBYTES, which is different then a AV scan, many malware won't be detected by AV because it doesn't work the same way to be 'detected'. I wasn't considering a Memtest nor temps but thanks for including. Now your also including your OverClocking the GPU, and just because BF4 seems nice, this still is the same video card used for 'internet' stuff. SO let's eliminate a potential issue, can you repeat the steps that 'randomly crash' your computer (i.e. everytime I am watching yourtube or have 15 tabs open on Explorer, etc.)? Keep trying till you can 'replicate' the most likely scenario it crashes. Once you do, then put the GPU to FACTORY settings and try the 'crash scenario', does it crash ? Keep trying to 'break it' by doing all the things on the Internet that were happening when you 'crash'. IF NO more crashes, then the OC your doing is too high for Internet apps that YES USE YOUR GPU TOO! You would need to throttle back to a level that it wont' cause it to work.

That would be my first step diagnosis, and a way to NARROW DOWN what/where/when/how/why the computer crashes (what is it your doing exactly when it 'crashes', what apps are open, etc.).
