I'm getting ready to OC my i5-760. I figured it would be good to see what my system is currently doing at stock setting with the stock fan. when running prime 95 my core temps shoot up to 99 in about a minute and a half so I stop the test. My Idle temps are usually around 35 or lower depending on the weather. Any ideas as to why my temps get so hot at 100% load?

In my personal experience this is true. Before I got a 212 Evo my temps while gaming on my FX-8120 were at about 66-68c with a tjmax at 70c. But now I idle at 13c and don't cross 30c while gaming.
