Well mate idd say it will do the job, if u notice lagg spikes u can always try to OC it a bit or reduce your details to high, its a bit less demanding adn the difference isnt much, the game still looks gorgeous, this speaking about BF4's case in particular

i have few more question if you don't mind?

1. will it be a good investment to play games that comes around couple of years going forward?

2. is fx 6300 a good choice for the games that i mentioned?

3. In case of GPU's, is nvidia a good choice or AMD?

1: I cant say it will, games can evolved very fast or they can stay like this for a while, The new engines like Crytek and Frostbite 3.0 have just come out so it might be this GPU holds on at maxed out setting for a while, not sure how long, and u can always get another one when they get cheaperr to crossfire
2: Yes, its a very good bang-for the buck CPU, games dont demand a lot of CPU, the games u mentioned should be fine
3: They are both excellent, this gen in particular they are very neck-and-neck, AMD has mantle coming out but noone knows what that will actually do so they are both excellent

No compatibility issue whatsoever as long as your power supply is sufficient.

About overclocking you will need to provide some info: your motherboard, your CPU cooler, also check towshardware there is a system builder article in which a fx6300 was over clocked.
