GTX 760 2GB FPS issues?

I recently bought the GTX 760 2GB for my system, and something doesn't seem right with some FPS spikes I get in some of the newer games. In BF4 I'll be running at a clean 60-80 FPS on full Ultra, then every 3 seconds I get a spike to 30 FPS. In other games like AC4 and Dayz SA I get very low FPS in only some areas on full Ultra.

I get -ALMOST- perfect FPS in Batman Arkham Origins, on full graphics, but some fps drops here and there.

Should I run a benchmarking test to see what's up, or check inside my PC for issues?

every 3 seconds as in, you leave everything still and every 3 seconds you will get a drop in frames?

I have a 780 ti and I will drop frames with every setting cranked up on some of those games you mentioned. DayZ will drop you frames no matter what card you're using. I think you're worrying about something that isn't a problem

Yes, If I sit there and look at the FPS mark, it'll go to as high as 60-120 FPS, then it'll out of nowhere drop to 30-40 FPS, causing a spike in-game.

Edit: I just noticed that even if I change everything to low settings, I still get FPS spikes every three seconds.... -.-

For BF4 you could try unparking your cores...

I've already tried unparking my cores through a third party program and through the registry, I still get FPS spikes, even on all low settings.

sounds like a problem with the game tbh, probably packet loss.
