I feel like my current 780 is Not living up to its name. I get tons of stuttering in some of my games and I know its not lag. I have 8 GB at 2400 MHz for ram and an i5-4670k for CPU. I also have a Corsair TX650 80+ power supply. Like I said I feel like its not getting the performance it should. I'm thinking of getting some MSI AMD cards to go along with MSI motherboard. Plus i'd like to get into litecoin/bitcoin mining. What cards do you reccomend that stay under $650. I plan on getting two 270x's. Will I get good performance? I mainly play assassin's creed 4 and battlefield 4. Thanks!

Personally, I'd stick with the one 780. I think your just getting the itch to upgrade something. I'm not sure if the 2 270x's will perform better than the one 780, but i can assure you that its much nicer to have one more powerful card than 2 underpowered cards. I had 2x560ti's in SLI and sure they performed well, but the heat was ridiculous and not to mention the sound. I now have one GTX 770 and much rather that vs the 2x560ti. I also much rather NVIDIA's drivers over AMD's but that's personal preference. Why do you feel like your not getting the performance you should?

Well i have had my PC for less then thirty days and it did ok but then after talking to my friend who has a 760, he said told me his is very stable, no stuttering, and very similar performance. i get stuttering in quite a few games. Also sound doesn't bother me too much, i have headphones, and heat im ok with because i have a lot of fans and normally don't do intense stuff very a very long time.

Before you go ahead and buy anything else, I'd uninstall the current drivers your using and reinstall the newest drivers. I highly doubt its your card that's the problem. Also, if your friend says he doesn't have stuttering ask him if he uses Vsync in games. Try using Vsync in games to see if that helps with the stuttering.

I have done that but i will do it again and right now, playing battlefield 4 is practically useless because of the stuttering. But also, i have heard two 270x's beat a 290x which in practically equivalent and sometimes better then a 780. Plus, i would like to get into Litecoin mining which should be great with those cards. I've heard after a couple months they'd pay for them selves.

I have no experience with Litecoin mining so i cannot speak for that. But if you do want to get something new, I say get one powerful card right now and then Crossfire that if your still not happy.

Actually i might just get the 780 ti. The only problem is i cant do litecoin/bitcoin mining and trust me you can make some good profit off that. Especially with TigerDirect now accepting Bitcoin.

Actually this is the first time that I have heard such term and until this moment I am still making some research to learn more about it, but anyway thanks for the input.
