Bf4 uses an insane amount of my system's memory. I have 8 gb of RAM as well as 3 gb of vram on my 2 7970 running an eyefinity setup at 5948 x 1080. I see pagefile usage of 11+ GB, 5+ GB of RAM usage, and 3+ (sometimes 4+ GB) GB of vRAM usage in BF4. What the hell is going on? I have all anti aliasing turned off, texture filtering, and ambient occlusion. Hell, I even set all graphics to "low" and I still had 3+ GB of Vram usage. What is going on?
An interesting note, however, is that I do not get FPS drops (at least not FPS drops that I should be getting from my Vram filling up). I get 60 fps and high 40s to mid 50s on average when there are graphic intensive scenes on my monitors.
I would just like to know if I am doing something wrong? I mean that is almost 20 GB of memory being used for bf4! I can't even turn off my paging file because BF4 won't even run and both the game and my graphics driver will crash, resulting in a DirectX error.
