Im Building a pc for my friend. His budget is $1200 and all he plays is LoL (league of legends).
What Ive got for him is
Corsair Graphite Series 230T case
i5-4670k
Noctua NH-D14
Asus Z87 A
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB
Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM
EVGA 500 B 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified 500W PSU
ASUS 24X DVD Burner
Is that small case and the noctua d14 compatable?
This will get good fps on ultra correct?
Is 500w enough for one gpu and one monitor?

Solution
You do not need the 4gb 770 unless you plan to SLI it at some point. You can either save some money or get a 600w or higher PSU. I would get the hyper212plus cpu cooler, great performance for the price.

you dont even need 900$ to play league maxed out......... he is definitly going to be playing mroe games.....

but at 1200$ that is a decent build.
just make sure that ram is 2x4
also the psu is a but small, i recommend atleast 650w with this build because of the overclockability of the i5 4670k

because it is a proven fact that dual channel is faster than a single memory eventho the amount is the same. and, my friend, with that build just to play LoL is way overkill. he should play Dota 2 instead. muahahahaha

Diablo 3 is a light game, ur choice will dominate the game. but maybe u want to heed woltej advice, u can save money by opt for a r9-280x

my laptop that's three years old with an amd a8 2ghz crossfire enabled with a dedicated graphics card . hooked it up to a monitor at 1900x1600 and ran with max settings. lol isn't hard on a computer at all. you just need a reliable low ping internet connection is the biggest thing

Great Advice. Thank you for saving me $100

Put it towards a 600W or more power supply and use that CM hyper 212 instead.
