Approximate Purchase Date: End of Feb/early March... depends on the IRS
Budget Range: ~$2000
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, light internet surfing, storage
Are you buying a monitor: Yes I already have an Asus VE248H, and plan on buying a second. It's been working fine for the past 4 years and now I'd have two
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com and amazon.com, I plan on taking out a line of credit to buy the parts
Location: City, State/Region, Country - Miami, FL
Parts Preferences: No preference
Overclocking: Yes/Maybe - I've always wanted to, but never really had the opportunity, now seems like a great time to go for it
SLI or Crossfire: Yes - I want to play graphic intensive games at their max. I've never been able to do so on any PC i've owned
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080p
Additional Comments: I'd really like a case that has a latched window like the Corsair Obsidian 650D. I may just end up getting it because I like the features and look of it, but I'm open to suggestions!
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I've always wanted to build a gaming PC, but never really could, so I just used whatever I had around to play games on. Right now i'm using a MBP 15", and it's pretty godawful. I'm going to be playing ESO, but really want to be able to enjoy more graphic intensive games i've never even been able to attempt.
I've done a little research, asked some friends who are gamers, and looked around the forums for builds in my range and have come up with This Build. It's a bit too much over budget for me, but on paper it looks pretty beastly.
Please let me know what you all think.
Thanks.
