I sold my reference R9 290X for about $700 and I'm looking to get a new graphics solution. I work for a major electronics retailer, so when it comes to the AMD cards, I can buy them near the original msrp. I've been kicking around a few ideas, what do you think the best choice is? Is there another option I've missed completely? I don't have a preference for AMD or Nvidia cards, just whichever will get me the best gaming experience for my money (1080p with everything maxed on the latest games such as Assassins Creed IV or BF4)

2x Crossfire Sapphire R9 280X TOXIC ($640)

Asus Mars 760 ($650)

EVGA GTX 780 ($475)

EVGA GTX 780 TI ($675)

MSI R9 290X Gaming ($580)

MSI GTX 780 Lightning ($550)

I saw the first results of mantle, and it's really not very impressive. It mainly functions by reducing dependence on the CPU, so users with a CPU bottle-necking their system and with a high end GPU will see the best improvement, around 40%. Users with both a high end GPU and CPU won't see much difference, more like 1-10%. So with a 4770K I'm not sold on mantle. The idea of having the Asus 760 Mars sounds really appealing, kind of a cool factor or bragging rights, any major cons against that one?
