I was recently curious about AMD Mantle, and it's support for games. I noticed the notes about Frostbite 3 Games, and much more specifically, Battlefield 4. Thing is... after we have known about Mantle for a while, I have seen no other statements of Mantle support for other Frostbite 3 games. (Maybe I'm blind.. but in my eyes, I haven't seen any news for other FB3 games.)
So, I decided to talk to EA Support to see what they have to say about one of my favorite FB3 games, Need for Speed Rivals. Heres what I got.

you: I was wondering, will NFS Rivals have support for AMD's new Mantle API? It is on Battlefield 4, and it specifies for Frostbite 3 games.

Rashmi: Yes.

Rashmi: NFS Rivals will will support AMD's new Mantle API.

you: When will support be available?

Rashmi: We don't have any official information about the support. You can keep checking our official website answers.ea.com.

you: Okay. From your own opinion, do you think Mantle support will be coming soon?

Rashmi: In my opinion it will be releasing soon but for further updates you can visit our official website.

This cleared my thoughts about my curiousity, and I hope it will clear your's.

I don't get why mantle even matters. Either it will be a success somehow when it excludes at least half of the PC market and nvidia will make its own system or it will have to be extended to nvidia to make it worthwhile for both pc gamers and developers.

AMD Mantle is open, others can use it. At the moment it only supports AMD GCN Cards. NV and take it if they want to, which would make their competition look better. The API is the same from the PS4, Xboxone, and WiiU, so the work took to make a game would be far less. if nv took it
