My motherboard only allows me to use one 4gb ram ballistic sport and every time i try to use both to make 8gb it wont boot or install windows but when i use one of them it Botts everything and goes right through but i wanna use both in using the bios 1302 but it still wont work

Asus a55 bm-e
A10 7850k
Logisys 550 watt power supply
Ballistic sport 1600 4x2 ram

Solution
Last year, I built a basic box with a single core AMD Sempron, 1-SATA hard drive, 1-DVD burner, and integrated graphics.

I used a Logisys PSU, figuring what could go wrong, but soon, I keep getting random shutdown and booting issues.

So, it not just the wattage that you use that could be a problem. PSU may be sending the wrong voltages or the voltages may be fluctuating too much.

Some motherboards are more sensitive to PSU voltages and fluctuations than others.

Your Crucial Ballistix Sport also isn't officially supported on the Asus a55 bm-e so that could also be the source of the problem.

I would definitely try changing the power supply first though.

I've been using this power supply slot and it shouldnt take that much power because in only using the apu and the ram and the fan even tho its not high quality it works and it turns it on an everything with 4gb ram but as soon as soon as i out the other dimm in it messes up in pretty tech Davey myself but with this i feel like its nothing should be happening like this do you think its a problem with the bios or it not supporting 8gb ?

Well, a brand name 250W power supply could be better than a 550W cheap, no name power supply.

I would say, try it.

Also, using RAM model that isn't officially supported doesn't necessary indicate a problem.

I use unsupported RAM model in my Phenom II X6 system and the system is running fine.
