looking to buy a new graphics card and Radeon HD 6670 looked like a good option in my price range just wondering if it will work with my motherboard, power supply wont be a problem.

PC specs:
AMD Phenom II X2 550 processor ~ 3.1GHz
2GB DDR3 RAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2

It should. I'm running that vid with an Athlon X4 640.

I would think of upgrading your memory to at least 4Gig. It will help a bit with performance, depending upon what you're doing of course, but it will help.

With only 2GB of memory, start up "Task Manager" and look under processes. You can see how much memory is in use by programs, cache (disk caching is pretty much anything not in use by programs). If it is less than 500MG you'll be running pretty slow. Most people may argue the 500MB limit and I won't disagree.

Adding 2 GB more will make a big difference in performance if you are playing any games other than solitaire or very simplistic games. If you're running Diablo 3 the memory /video card are both musts I would think.

im quite certain that the HD6670 will make a huge difference. as for memory adding 2GB or more will help a lot as the cached memory is less than 500MB. The games im looking to play is mainly Dota 2 and Dayz but of course i will hope to be able to play other games like nether or anything that comes in future.
