Hello, as a noobie builder I'm finding it pretty difficult to find information about case fans, people never go into detail about them like it's common knowledge or something. So here's my questions.

How much should I pay for a case fan? what is a good fan "brand"?
What are average fan set ups? Which fans impact temps the most?(top, side, ect)
Cheap intake filter method if your case doesn't have it built in? I read pantyhose somewhere..?

Not the prettiest, but a swiffer pad works marvelously lol

Good general idea is to bring in from the front and/or sides and/or bottom, and extract out the top/back of the case. Rule of thumb is to have more fans pulling air in than fans pushing are out (although both are important!)

Probably the best fan, in my opinion, is the Noctua. Extremely quiet with good air flow. If you don't care about noise, then it really doesn't matter what fans you buy lol Noctuas are expensive though. Cooler Master, Be Quiet! and Corsair also make great fans as well.
