This seemed to work 8 weeks ago. I moved a bunch of information onto the drive. Now that I need to review the data - it does not recognize the drive. The blue light is on? I tried the Device Manager, Disk Manager options. No external drive there. I downloaded Seatools for windows and no luck there either. Is it a power issue. Do i need to buy a USB with an external power connection?

What on earth does that mean? - SeaTools wouldn't run, the drive passed the test, or something else?
There may be insufficient power at the USB ports so try a mains-powered USB hub.

Shut down and start with the drive attached option did not work. Will now try to get the mains-powered USB hub option.....Its a Toshiba 1TB Convio hard drive BTW......is there a compatibility issue between USB 2.0 and 3.0......Hard drive is 3.0 compliant?
