Solution
Unless load times are of major importance to you I would drop the SSD and get the i5 and the 270X. Also windows 8 is starting to show performance gains over 7 (and may have a newer direct x not support by 7 in future) if you can live with it.

Just for mid level games like skyrim. I want to spend $700-$800.
