DNS not responding

Hello,

Two weeks ago I bought my own router and NAS, and although I don't know very much about networking and stuff, I got it to work :). But yesterday and today I started having problems with my internet connection (which worked well up until now).
Now it says "DNS not responding".
So I figured maybe something's wrong with my router settings. Next I tried connecting to my ISP's router, which still has the wireless signal turned on, but had the same problem.
I tried looking the problem up on my ISP's site and found this. It's a site where you can see the status of their servers, and everything is working fine except DNS cache Resolve, which isn't working properly.
My question is, could the problem be related to my ISP? Or is it a problem I have to solve myself?
I figure it's somehow related because I haven't changed any settings that I know of in the last two weeks and I worked fine for the most part of those two weeks.
But if I wrong, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks :)

UPDATE: It started working again just now without me doing anything. It appears they fixed the server I was talking about. So I assume it wasn't my fault but it was my ISP's. The server status used to be: "There are problems with the server, you may experience problems" and now it is "There is possibly a small problem, you will however experience little or no problems".
