Suggestion on what Graphic card should I buy

Hi all,

I am currently searching for a good VGA for my new motherboard, it is bascially a S775 Mboard so I would like some pro advise and recommendation on what VGA should I buy for it. I am looking to play some latest games at least on high settings. This is my mainboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G41M-GS3/

the best card i can suggest that isn't too expensive and has the performance on at least high settings would be a R9 280x. At least high, some games have high as their highest setting so getting a R9 280X can max out any game. You can get them for under $400, if that is what your looking at in terms of price. it has 3GB VRam and a 384-bit memory bus running at 288GB/s, though that isn't all specs making it how it's performance stands, it's reason enough to get one.

One last question; if a graphic card has this spec: Bus Type : PCI Express 3.0 x16; is it still compatible with the mentioned Mbaord?
