Should i be able to run most games?

Im just wondering if i would be able to run games like skyrim, bf4 like you know all them sort of games?

Well anyways, this is my rig:
Processor: Intel Dual Core i7 3.6Ghz
8 Gb RAM 1600 MHZ
Processor Speed: 3.4 GHz
It's only got intergraded graphics at the moment, but i am going to out a GTX 660 in it.

If anyone could give me an answer it would be greatly appreciated.

What generation of i7? Could you be more specific please? The only i7 with 3.6 GHz clock I know of is i7 3820 which is a quad core btw not a duel core. I checked on the net and I don't think there is a single duel core i7 processor that has 3.4 let alone 3.6 core clock.

Hey,

Dual i7 that's enough for BF4, hyperthreads will help a lot in this case

8GB is plenty for games in the next couple of years
And 660 GTX will handle your games on max, even BF4 on 50 fps. I would recommend 660 MSI / or GTX 660 Lightning.

Both very smexy lookings cards and highest performance for the price.

with that gpu gtx 660 u will b able to play latest games if u can afford get gtx 760

A dual core i7 is pretty awkward, I've seen those on laptops.
*You might not know what cpu you got lol! cuz desktop PC's have only i7 4 cores

its whether i3 i5 or i7 all are capable but a good graphics card make the difference

this is old but 2xxx is sandy bridge 3xxx is ivy bridge same socket but not the same cpu.
