Hello everyone,

I have an Acer Aspire laptop model 57382 zg, In the beginning my problem was the charger socket is broken so I disassembled my pc and I changed it without any problem but after assembly and when I push the start button the fan starts spinning and the hard drive also but without displaying anything on the screen.

After some research on the internet I can not find the solution, some speaks of memory card problem other of something "reflow" the graphics card however I didn't touch anything other than the charger socket.
Any kind of help is highly appreciated. So please help me to resolve this problèm.
And thank you.

diagnosing problem requires useful or stupid question now
1 charger socket you changed is it compatible? or connections set right? if yes
2 you should get another ram try same drill. just to be sure

I have tried desperate thing this weekend;
I tried to dry the motherboard's GPU with hairdryer about 3-4 min and I switched on the laptop without assembling It and It worked, but after I have assembled It the problème returned. :pt1cable:
I don't know what this means ?? :??: ??
If this is meaningful for you guys, please help me

What you can do is disassemble again and check the thermal paste for the GPU, if you can, change it for both, for the CPU and GPU. Put back the heatsink, but don't reassemble right now. Check if it will boot, and do some test. Load Windows and look how long it will stay on the screen.

i had the same problem with my toshiba l655 the problem was that my gpu was disconnected from the motherboard ( i toke it to a computer tech ) and he told me that my gpu is almost dead but he manged to fix it for about 2 weeks and he told me it cant be recovered again but in the meanwhile what he really did is he changed the themal past as jarotech said and he kind heated it up for about as you said 5 mins and it worked for 2 weeks and to fix the problem permanently you have to change the GPU and in my country its very expensive to do it so i bought a new laptop

Yes jarotech everything is working fine except that the screen is staying black without any signal. Otherwise I notice that the fan starts to run at startup and then it stops for a moment then continues to rotate. but after the laptop crashes when it stops it never returns to rotate.

Thanks again jarotech for your reply;
What I means is when starting the laptop, I noticed that the fan in first step it run about 2-3 seconds then it stop, and finally it run again, but after the laptop has crashed, the fan after the first step when it stops, it didn't run again.
