Hello mates.

Last day i decide to upgrade my pc with some new cheap parts :

Cpu: AMD FX-4130
Mb: Asrock 970
Ram: Crucial 1866mhz 8G (2x4G) ddr3 Ballistix Sport

Everything was rolling ok,OS/Software installed smooth etc,but shortly, i realize my new rams, running much lower than their current speed. Into bios,i see everything normal at 1866Mhz,but CPUz/Amd Overdrive, both reporting 931Mhz. I set rams via bios at 1866,but still running at 931.I change slots, same. At the moment, rams sitting at slots A2/B2 as manual says for 1600/1866 frequency. I haven't touch/alter anything at voltages/dram settings.
Any advice please how to make rams to operate at normal manufacturing speed?
At least if i can make it at 1600,because i think it's waste of money for such rams to operate at this frequency. :s

Thanks in advane in any case. :)

(ps: 1) My excuses for my bad English. Not my native language. 2) I'm not any kind of PC genius or involving with o/c's etc,so sorry if dumb questions and/or in any case i have put wrong description)

It is a common mistake. I blame it on the software not telling you the full frequency.
